So… this is the new location for my witty banter and observations about life. I adored my previous blog (http://www.cartkarma.blogspot.com), but as it was linked to my old email address, it was very inconvenient for me since I would have to log out of the current email and log back into the old email to post anything. Plus, the old email contains the ex’s last name, and I just hate typing it.
So, I was thinking on new and exciting titles for a recreated blog… and I began thinking about my name and how I am pretty sure that my parents named me after Jaime Sommers, the Bionic Woman of the 1970's (every time I ask, they skirt the question). I started searching on Google - lo and behold, there is a new Bionic Woman coming out on NBC. Weird. Anyway, this quote from the site I visited struck a chord: “It’s Jaime’s journey of self-discovery and inner strength that will help her embrace her new life.”
Those of you who know me realize how much my life has changed in the last few years - new husband, lots of kids, bad divorce, unemployment, new house, plastic surgery, etc. I feel like I am finally figuring out who I am, what I’m good at, what I want to do with my life, what is important to me as a mother, woman, wife, friend, sister, daughter, professional, student, etc.
Do stay tuned… My brain has been overflowing with things I want to write about, get off my chest, or just document so I don’t forget… this CRS (Can’t Remember Shit) thing I’ve got going on is a pain.
